Appeal for help

John, G3JJR in the West Midlands, has contacted us with this plea for assistance for a rapidly-approaching event.

John explains:

We are a World-wide fellowship of Radio Amateurs, all being members of Rotary. This year Rotary is holding its 100th annual international convention at the NEC in June.

Every year at this convention, the radio amateurs of the host country put on an exhibition station, so this year it falls upon the UK members to organise a station.

Excellent arrangements have been made for all needs except one.

We are in need of borrowing a trailer-mounted mast capable of taking a rotator and tri-bander to clear a 45-50 foot building. It will be needed from Wednesday 17th June to Friday 26th June.
