Earthquake in HondurasHonduras has had a 7.1 magnitude earthquake and has been requested that preference is given to any emergency traffic around 7.090 Mhz. It has been reported that Dr. Cesar Pio Santos, HR2P, IARU Region 2 Emergency Coordinator has indicated there is no major damage but it has been asked that Amateurs give preference to emergency traffic if they find it on our bands, especially around 7,090 MHz.
