Mills on the Air Weekend -
GB4HM Howsham Mill
Ripon & District Amateur Radio Society will be holding a special event station GB4HM at Howsham Mill, North Yorkshire on Sunday 10 May 2009.
The mill is run by the Renewable Heritage Trust who have installed an Archimedean Screw which provides 25Kw of power so the special event station will be running on sustainable water power.
It is hoped to be QRV on 80m, 20m, 6m, 4m and 2m.
