Rayleigh Windmill celebrates its 200th anniversary this year

Mills on the Air Weekend - GB2RWM Rayleigh Windmill

Members of the South Essex Amateur Radio Society will be participating in the Windmills on the Air weekend by putting a station on air from Rayleigh Windmill in Rayleigh, Essex.

Using the callsign GB2RWM, the station will be on-air from the mill - located in Bellingham Lane, Rayleigh - which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year.

Look for SEARS members to be active from 0800 UTC on Saturday, 9th May, on all HF bands and VHF, including some data modes.
