RSGB Convention update

Some weeks back G3RIR and G8VHI put out a number of
e-mails about the new re-branded RSGB Convention and the running of a VHF stream.

Within the public domain there has been little going on. However, behind the scenes work has been going on to secure a good and varied lecture program. It will cover
4-meters to Microwave. This we hope to release into the public domain soon.

To those who both freely or were persuaded into giving a talk, we thank you. Without you it can't be done!

We have a number of aims for the day:
A social event where like-mined people can have a drink and chat.

A place for us all to learn and exchange ideas

We believe one of the most important things is to encourage new blood into our aspect of the hobby. That can be from someone who has had a call 50 years plus to the schoolboy SWL.

To promote the world above 30 Mhz and contesting on these bands as the place in the spectrum where its at!

Neil G3RIR

Reg G8VHI

Please feel free to pass this onto any other forum etc that you wish
