Mills on the Air Weekend -
GB1WM Weybourne Mill

Members of the Bittern DX Group are participating in the National Mills on the Air weekend by putting a station on air from Weybourne Mill in Weybourne, North Norfolk.

Using the callsign of GB1WM, this is a first time activation of probably one the most photographed landmarks on the North Norfolk coast.

The Mill was extensively renovated in 2008 with new sails and fantail fitted - being a private residence, it is not open to the public.

For this reason station will be on-air from a field adjacent to the mill from 8th - 10th May. Look for Bittern DX'er members to be active on all HF bands and VHF, including some data modes.
