3D views for beacons maps

The maps of UK HF/VHF/UHF beacons produced by the UK Microwave Group now take advantage of the 3D views available in Google Earth.

A recent development by Google has been to make a Google Earth Plugin available for their 2D maps to give alternative 3D views.

This has been added as a viewing option onto some beacon maps on http://www.beacons.org.uk/ and there is now an 'Earth' option on the UK HF/VHF/UHF beacon maps.

It requires the the latest version of Google Earth which can be downloaded from
