Angola operation

Andrew, G7COD has been issued with the amateur radio callsign D2AK and will be operational nearly every day from the Ilhe Do Cabo, Luanda, the capital of the Republic of Angola, for the next 12 months while on a work assignment there.

Expect transmissions to take place throughout both day and night with no fixed times on 80 to 10 metres, including WARC frequencies, using SSB and CW.

Working conditions are an Icom IC7000, 100 Watts output, MFJ 929 Auto Atu and Inverted Vee.
SSB: 7.063 MHz, 14.190 MHz, 18.133 MHz, 21.253 MHz, 24.953MHz and 28.500 MHz.
CW: 3.503 MHz, 7.003 MHz, 10.103 MHz, 14.003 MHz, 18.073 MHz, 21.003 MHz, 24.893 MHz and 28.003 MHz (+/- to allow for QRM).
