Argentine Satellite Special Event Station

The Radio Club Ushuaia LU8XW are celebrating their 25th Anniversary by operating on the Amateur Radio satellites from May 22-24.

Club members will be going on an expedition to operate from the City of Tolhuin in Tierra del Fuego. Tolhuin has a population of just 1,382 and is the largest settlement for over 100 km in this sparsely populated part of Argentina.

They will be active on the Amateur Radio satellites from 01:00 UT May 22 until 03:00 UT May 24 and they will also be operating on HF using SSB, CW, PSK and RTTY.
