The free eQRM newsletter carries an exclusive interview with ARRL CEO, Executive Vice President and Secretary and former IARU secretary David Sumner K1ZZ.

In a wide ranging interview he discusses a diverse range of subjects including the US Technician license about which he says:
"As for the current structure, the Technician license is not the perfect entry level license; I would prefer an entry level license with more useful HF privileges."
