Live broadcast of Hamvention starts Wed 12th

Tom Medlin, W5KUB and friends will, once again, broadcast live video and audio from this year's Dayton Hamvention. Tom's website will be going live at 0800 central (1300 UTC) on Wednesday May 12th.

Tom says: We will start broadcasting video and audio of our 550 mile drive to Hamvention. Then on Thursday we will be broadcasting the set up of our fleamarket space, then the actual show on Friday, Sat, and Sunday.

For those of you that join us on the broadcast, we have over $5000 of prizes we will be giving away. Prizes range from the Yaesu FT-950 HF/6mtr transceiver to Icom DSTAR radio to Heil boom sets, mics, Daiwa wattmeters, Kantronics TNCs, G5RV antennas, ARRL handbooks and antenna books, Peet Bros weather station, comet antenna, qsl cards, ham hats, LDZ auto antenna tuner, to mention just a few.

We will start giving prizes out when we start our trip on Wednesday morning and then until we get back home Sunday night. There is a chat room for you to log into and you can chat with us or other hams around the world. The site is up 365 days a year.
