DARC elect new ChairmanOn May 9, at a meeting in Baunatal, the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC) elected Steffen Schöppe DL7ATE as Chairman. Steffen received 63 out of 84 votes, with 3 abstentions and 18 votes against. The meeting also saw Annette Coenen DL6SAK being elected to the Board. The previous DARC Chairman Dr. Walter Schlink, DL3OAP resigned suddenly from his post in the middle of March due to differences of opinion between him and the rest of the board members regarding the direction of the DARC and planned restructuring measures.
