UNITEC-1 launch re-scheduled
Due to adverse weather conditions, the launch of the first Interplanetary Amateur Radio satellite UNITEC-1 has been postponed until Thursday evening.
The launch will now take place on Thursday May 20 at 21:58:22 UT and can be watched live on the web at

UNITEC-1 will travel to Venus carrying an Amateur Radio beacon on 5840.0 MHz. The other two Amateur Radio satellites on the launch are Negai* and Waseda-SAT2 will stay in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and transmit on 437.305 and 437.485 MHz respectively.
