BPL rushed to adoption -
interference concerns continue

The following two stories from the American Radio Relay League ("ARRL") underscore the fact that the BPL rules were rushed to adoption by the FCC - without giving the radio frequency interference aspects of BPL careful consideration:

Nevertheless, there is some hope in the IEEE BPL standards
setting committee which has yet to weigh in on the matter.

The next IEEE meeting is set for January 14; the location
is San Diego.
