President's net and Intecnet on air this evening

The SARL President's net and Intecnet will be on the air this evening Sunday 21 November 2004, starting at 19:00.
SARL President, Graham Hartlett, will discuss the new radio regulations, which are expected to come into force in the next two weeks upon publication in the Government Gazette.

The President's net will be followed with the Intecnet featuring Ian Able G3ZHI from the UK, who will talk about IRLP, Echolink and using the Internet to remotely link amateur radio stations. (Bulletin stations should go to www.amateurradio.org.za for a sound byte)

Clubs who wish to link their repeaters should send an urgent email to armi@sarl.org.za before noon today with details of the telephone number to be linked, repeater frequency and coverage area.
