Morse Proficiency Awards

St Leonard’s Amateur Radio Society will be running Morse proficiency assessments in Stafford (UK) in December.

Previous sessions have only been held at a few selected rallies, but it is the aim of the Stafford group to attract members of local radio clubs and societies.

A venue has been booked for December at St Leonard’s Amateur Radio Society in Stafford and places will be limited. If any radio club within a radius of about 25 miles of Stafford has a number of members wishing to try for the awards, St Leonard’s would consider making a visit.

It would be necessary for the club in question to provide a suitable room. Speeds of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 words per minutes can be accommodated, resulting in a free Morse Proficiency Award.

The programme is run in conjunction with the RSGB and the First-Class Operators’ Club. For more details, please contact Stan, G0BYA, on 01785 612 106 or e-mail stafford.morse@ntlworld.com
