The National WIA weekly news needs your help

The National WIA weekly news broadcast has been a very successful initiative and is the Australian amateur's prime source of up to date news.

The National news service belongs to us all and we all need to be looking for interesting items for inclusion each week. It's continuing success depends on doing this. If you, your club or some of your friends have an interesting news item, don't' keep it to yourself, submit it to the National WIA news service, this way we can all know about.

Our State Advisory committees have also been asked to appoint one person who is to act as the news coordinator in their state. Currently only VK3 and VK6 are regularly utilizing the service which attracts over 1,000 logged checkins weekly. These state news co-ordinators are hoped to be in place before November 19. Contact Chris Jones, VK2ZDD at vk2zdd@zener.net if you have any questions.

We are not after a list of dates of meetings, but genuine general interest items others may use or find interesting.

It's easy to do, just go to the news link at he bottom right hand side of the home page, follow the link and on the next page you will find out just how easy it is to make a submission
