Baxter K1MAN calls NAL 'Silly and
Anaemic'
Glenn Baxter (the former K1MAN) called the FCCs fine against him
'silly and anaemic,' and echoing past unfounded charges, he calls
the FCC 'corrupt'.
"Finally, Baxter goes on to call the approximately 1,000 hams
who have complained about him 'idiots'.
Baxter's letter (published on his website) appears to establish
without a doubt, the contempt in which he holds the FCC and the
level of defiance against the Federal Communications Commission's
authority, which continues, despite the issuance of a $21,000 fine
from the Commission.

Walter,
I enjoyed the Neil Armstrong piece on "60 Minutes" yesterday.
You were sure at the top of your game back then, for sure!
Dan Rather lectured at the University of Maine last week and suggested
that journalists should get a "spine transplant." I immediately
thought of you, caving in to anonymous hams and or unconfirmed false
reports threatening to implicate you as well me with child molesting.
Check your sources, Walter.
Perhaps you simply handled the matter wrongly. You did an ID for
me when you were trying to promote your new autobiography. OK so
far. You attached no limitations to my use of the ID. I used the
ID on my world wide short wave program. Many of my detractors wrote
to you and, of course, said I was illegal, etc., and that I was
a convicted
child molester, etc., which you would be associated with.
Your secretary called me about the child molesting issue. You then
wrote and asked me to stop using the ID. I agreed if you would come
on my program and explain your reasons. You declined. I continued
using the ID so as not to cave in to the blackmail as you were so
willing to do. Then you call ME unethical?! Who is being unethical
here?
You hypocrite! You lobby the FCC to revoke my license after John
F. Kennedy threatened you and CBS with trying to influence the FCC
when you insisted on running his flubbed remarks during a presidential
campaign interview with you. You didn't cave in then!
Here is what you should have done with K1MAN. Ignore the idiots
or else publish a disclaimer. Yes, you did the ID but no, you do
not endorse AARA, or whatever; not publish a letter on the internet
that Glenn Baxter is "unethical." Pretty strong word,
Walter!
Believe me, if I were illegal doing what W1AW has done for almost
100 years, the FCC and U.S. Government are smart enough and powerful
enough to do something about it other than defame me with their
silly and anaemic notices of APPARENT liability. Let's go to court,
Walter, and I will call you as my first witness! God bless America,
the land of the free and home of the brave.
The FCC is a corrupt agency. Big deal. This is America, and we
do have some corruption. We also have laws. I am protected by our
wonderful laws.
