Annual Remembrance Day service to be relayed on ARMI

The annual Remembrance Day service in memory of those who have fallen in active duty for their country and fellow South Africans will be relayed on Amateur Radio Mirror International.

The service will originate on RSG (Radio Sonder Grense) and will be on the air at 10:45 CAT on Sunday 13 November 2005.

The service will be conducted in Afrikaans by Rev. Lendus de Villiers, ZS6LLV, minister of the Rietfontein-North congregation of the Dutch Reformed Church.

All radio amateurs are requested to observe radio silence as a mark of respect. Please convey this request to those whom you talk to on the air during the coming week.
