SAFIR-S Active on 2401.9 MHz

SAFIR-S was one of the payloads on the Kosmos rocket that launched SSETI-Express on 27th October, see
http://www.southgatearc.org/news/november2005/rubin5_safirs.htm

There has been a report from Germany that the beacon on 2401.9 MHz has been heard for the first time.
Oliver, DG6BCE has the latest news..

I received today a message from Guenter DF4PV about a
signal that he observed on 2401,9 MHz in the expected
path of RUBIN-5 Orbit #351 at 20.11.2005, 10:28 UTC
in JN49ax (Germany).

Current TLEs are:
MOZHAYETS 5/RUBIN 5
1 28898U 05043G 05323.80905705 .00000080 00000-0 27179-4 0 948
2 28898 98.1780 220.1390 0020315 106.6365 253.7087 14.58404423 3421

It seems that the re-organisation of the SAFIR-S activation
cycles are shifted. It is therefore worth to observe the
full time of a pass!
