Ireland's South Eastern Amateur Radio Group

South Eastern Amateur Radio Group recently participated
in JOTA from the 1st Port of Waterford Sea Scouts in
Waterford City.

This was a great success and scouts had the opportunity of operating VHF, HF, APRS and John EI7IG gave a demonstration of satellite operation. Gareth EI7FZB, Nicky EI3JB, John EI7IG, John EI8JA and Mark EI7IS participated in the event.

The club would like to thank the Sea Scouts for their assistance and Waterford Institute of Technology Amateur Radio Society for supplying the HF rig.

On Thursday the 17th of November, Practical Wireless
editor, Rob Mannion G3XFD / EI5IW will visit the club.
