50 MHz: Finally all three German 6m beacons QRV!

When the 50 MHz band was opened for all German class A-licencees, the BNetzA also gave permission to install and run 3 beacons on 50,083 MHz.

One in northeastern Germany, one in southern Germany and one in the West. DGØHGW in the Northeast, Locator JO64QC as well as DFØANN in the South, Locator JN59PL came into the air very quickly.

But there was no one to run the beacon in the West.

Some days ago, Dithmar, DF7KF, got permission to install and run DBØDUB in JO31HF near Dusseldorf. Pout is 2 W ERP, horizontal polarization, using an angled dipole. Still building a quarz-controlled beacon transmitter, Dithmar uses his common trx for beacon purposes. Therefore the beacon is only QRV in the weekends.

First reports show that DBØDUB has been heard in Denmark via meteorscatter and in Southern Portugal via Es with 579.
