Very special Australian 10-letter callsign issued

ACMA has issued the Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club with a special event callsign to commemorate the club's 50th anniversary. The callsign, VI 2 BMARC 50, will be on-air for 10 days from January 18th to January 28th 2008.

Details of the operating schedule for VI2BMARC50 will be posted on the club's website.

Two attractive QSL cards have been prepared, a standard sized 6" x 4" card and a larger very attractive card signed by the current club executive.

QSLs can be sent via the bureau or direct to the club's PO Box.

There will be a cost of $5.00 for the larger card to cover return postage.

So please give VI2BMARC50 a call and help the Blue Mountains ARC celebrate their 50th anniversary in January.
