CD sales have so far raised $2000 for food bank

We were pleased to hear from former Radio Canada International personality Ian McFarland that his CD project to raise money for the food bank in Duncan, British Columbia, has so far raised $2000 since its launch in September 2006.

There are two double CD sets available based on long-running series that were featured on Radio Canada International.

One series featured identification and interval signals from SW stations around the world. Many of the ident signals heard in that series are no longer on the air.

The other is the Foreign Language Recognition course, something that’s still as useful today as when it was first broadcast. The series features 55 languages, with analysis by the late Dr Richard E Wood. It also comes with a bonus CD containing three flashback shows in their entirety from the “Ian McFarland catalogue of classics”.

Full details of how to order and pay are on this page of the DXer.ca website.
