Deutscher
Amateur Radio Club -
New president's board elected
The Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC) Annual General Assembly (24
Chairmen of the Districts as the representatives of the district members)
has re-elected Jochen Hindrichs, DL9KCX, as President
of DARC - as well as Dr. Walter Schlink, DL3OAP, and
Steffen Schöppe, DL7ATE, who were re-elected as
vice-presidents.
Rudolf Schwenger, DJ3WE, has been elected as new member
of the DARC Board of Presidents.
Rudolf is 67 years old, is member of the Bavarian Contest Club (BCC)
and literally a "newbie" to this position, as he has not been
a local club manager nor a district manager before.
Due to a change in the DARC constitution in late August, only three vice-presidents
were elected this time. Their term begins immediately and runs until the
Annual General Meeting in fall 2009.
