D-STAR Group in Northern Ireland

A D-STAR group is being formed in Northern Ireland.

In a posting on DSTAR_DIGITAL, John MI0AAZ writes:
A group of us here in Northern Ireland are interested in developing a D-STAR network locally on the 70cm band.

At present, we are just feeling our way around this aspect of Amateur Radio and, depending what local interest there is, then maybe a D-STAR repeater could be in the pipeline.

I like the idea of the external interface based on the Icom
UT-118 to work with any tranceiver with a 9K6 data socket.
