e-Mentoring Initiative
Members of Amateur Radio Victoria who have become radio
amateurs since November 2005 are now receiving a new membership service
which is called e-mentor.
Mentoring includes all forms of sharing of skills and knowledge and a
helping hand when required.
The current controllers of the F-Troop Net, which goes to air at 11.05am
each Sunday through the Mt Macedon 2m repeater, Ross Pittard VK3FCE,
Keith Proctor VK3FT and Terry Murphy VK3UP
have volunteered to answer questions
through the e-mentor service.
This will be in addition to email bulletins that will cover a range of
amateur radio operational topics, and drawing on the Foundation Corner
segment that has been previously run on the VK1WIA broadcast.
A series of handy tips for newcomers will also be provided to Amateur
Radio Victoria members in coming months.
