Essex to get D-STAR repeater

Jeff Stanton G6XYU of the Essex-based Ham Radio store Waters and Stanton PLC (W&S) has submitted an application for a D-STAR repeater.

The repeater, which will have the callsign GB7SS, will be the first D-STAR repeater in Essex.

Other D-STAR repeater applications submitted recently are GB7DG in Glasgow and what will be the first 2 metre D-STAR repeater in the UK - GB7YD in Barnsley.
