Iraqi amateur radio back on air Tuesday

It was announced this past week that the government of Iraq will reopen the amateur radio service on November 20th.

Scott, AD7MI, states that he will be active as YI9MI from November 20th to May 15th (2008) from the U.S. Army Camp in Taji.

Activity will be on 80-10 meters, CW, SSB, PSK-31 and RTTY.
