GB3VHF to closedown in December

After nearly fifty years of near continuous service from the transmitting station at Wrotham in Kent (JO01DH), the two-metre beacon GB3VHF will fall silent towards the end of December 2008.

The beacon, which operates on 144.430 MHz is being forced to shutdown by the high site rental costs.
