Consultation on making Intelligent Transport Systems licence exempt

On Tuesday the UK regulator Ofcom published a consultation to draft regulations to exempt the use of vehicle based safety related applications of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).

ITS, operating in the in the 5875 - 5905 MHz frequency band, are intended to provide drivers with additional information and give an early warning of potential dangers.
