New Québec Section Manager

The RAC Field Services Organization is pleased to announce that, effective November 22, 2008, Gilles Larivière, VA2SGL, is the new Québec Section Manager.

After two calls for nominating petitions, Gilles' was the only nomination submitted, removing the need for a balloted election. He assumes the remainder of a two-year term which began November 1, 2008, and ends November 1, 2010.

Congratulations and thanks are extended to Gilles for agreeing to take over this important post, as well thanks to former Section Manager Raymond Faguy, VA2RY, for his past efforts on behalf of the RAC Field Services in Québec.

All Radio Amateurs in Québec are encouraged to support Gilles in his work to build Québec Section into an important part of the national Field Services Organization.
