DQ11APOLLO

DQ11APOLLO is operated by a German amateur radio club in Luedinghausen (N28) with the special DOK Apollo11.

Responsible for the station and also acting as QSL manager is Thomas, DF3JO.

The first QSOs were made on 16-24 July to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first landing on the moon on 20th July, 1969.

The call will be activated during several occasions in 2009 and 2010:

Apollo 8 December 21-27, 2009
Apollo 14 January 31-Feb 9, 2010
Apollo 9 March 03-13, 2010
Apollo 13 April 11-17, 2010
Apollo 16 April 16-27, 2010 and
Apollo 10 May 18-26, 2010.

QSL via DF3JO, direct or bureau. The QSL card has yet to be printed. The first delivery of the QSL-cards is sheduled in December.
