Norwegian Radio Amateurs get 70 MHz

Norway has joined Finland in giving Radio Amateurs access to the 70 MHz band.

On the 4 Metre web site Bo, OZ2M has provided information on the change.

As of November 5, 2009 Amateurs in Norway, Svalbard, Bear Island, Jan Mayen, Bouvet Island, Peter I Island and in the Norwegian land areas on Antarctica can run up to 100 watts on:

70.0625-70.0875 MHz
70.1375-70.1875 MHz
70.2625-70.3125 MHz
70.3625-70.3875 MHz
70.4125-70.4625 MHz
