Flooding emergency in Cumbria

North Pennines RAYNET group were put on standby by the Cumbria Emergency Planning Office on Friday morning, 20th November.

Neighbouring groups in RAYNET Zones 2 (Yorkshire) and 10 (The North-West) were informed.

They were stood down overnight on Friday and after a review of the situation on Saturday, with weather set to deteriorate once again overnight, the groups remained on standby on Saturday afternoon.
