SKYWARN Recognition Day

The 11th Annual SKYWARN Recognition Day will take place on Saturday, December 5th.

Co-sponsored by the ARRL and the National Weather Service
SKYWARN Recognition Day is a way to recognize the commitment made by Amateur Radio operators in helping to keep their communities safe.

According to SKYWARN Recognition Day Coordinator David Floyd, N5DBZ, radio amateurs can visit their local participating National Weather Service office. There, working as a team, they will contact other radio hams around the world throughout the 24 hour event.
