Strong solar farside activity

The Earth-facing side of the sun is relatively quiet, but the farside is alive with activity.

On November 26th, NASA's twin STEREO spacecraft and the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) observed eruptions from multiple farside blast sites.
