RSGB HFC 22-24 October

A reminder that the RSGB HF Convention takes place over the weekend of 22 to 24 October.

The venue is a new one again this year, the Gatwick Worth Hotel near Gatwick Airport. Full details, including a location map, can be found on pages 18 and 19 of the October issue of RadCom. Although bookings for packages at the hotel and the Welcome and Gala Dinners close on 15 October, day visitors on both 23 and 24 October are very welcome.

This year’s convention includes DXpedition presentations, IOTA’s 40th anniversary celebration, HF and VHF Contest trophy presentations, and technical lectures on EZNEC, 136kHz propagation and PLT. There is also a lecture stream especially for newcomers which includes presentations on ‘HF for Newcomers’, pile-up management and wire antennas.
