The lost bands of South Africa!

South African Amateurs have had a rude awakening!

Seemed they lost their 2.4 and 5.6 GHz bands in one fell swoop !

"Not so" says SARL president, Graham Hartlett, ZS6GJH.

He has on hand, communication from ICASA their regulatory body, saying the 2.4 and 5.6 GHz allocations for amateurs had been accidentally omitted from the last publication of the band plan in the Government Gazette.

This will be rectified in the next band plan publication in the Government Gazette

Phew!
