AMSAT Annual Meeting of the Corporation

The AMSAT Annual Meeting of the Corporation will be held this Friday, 07 October 2005, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

The meeting will at the Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport hotel, 777 Aten Road and all AMSAT members are encouraged to participate. The hotel is located just outside the Pittsburgh International Airport approximately 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, PA. For those who may be navigating by GPS the hotel is located at 40 27.59 N, 80 11.55 W.

AMSAT President Rick Hambly, W2GPS, will be presenting a report to the members in accordance with Article III, Section 1 of the Bylaws.

For the first time this year AMSAT will also be streaming live audio of the meeting via the *AMSAT* Conference (node 101377) on Echolink. During the meeting the conference bridge will be configured as listen only. Any member may submit a question for the meeting by sending an email in
advance to Gould Smith, wa4sxm@amsat.org, who will be compiling the questions.

In addition, an attempt will be made to utilize the "text
chat" feature of Echolink to take questions interactively.
For those members who are not able to attend in person or listen via Echolink, the meeting will also be video taped and made available through the AMSAT Video News via the website.
