Australian foundation manual out soon

Work continues at full speed on the new full color Foundation Licence Manual. The manual consists of around 95 pages of relevant information for those studying, or those who would just like a reference book for Foundation Licence Operators.

A booking has been made with the company selected to print the manual on October 31, the printer has advised us that it will be available for dispatch to the WIA office in Melbourne as soon as it is printed. It will take us a couple of days to prepare order for dispatch.

The manual contains the all the relevant information you will need to know to successful complete a training course to obtain a foundation licence. It also contains a wealth of information a Foundation Licence operate will need. Items like Band Plans, Electrical Safety information, operating procedures such as the Q code, how to contact you local radio club, the WIA and much more.

The price of the Manual will be $16.50 each including GST for non-members + postage of $3.00. The price is $14.50 including GST for members + postage of $3.00.

The WIA has made a special deal with it's affiliated radio
clubs, you may find you can purchase the manual via you local club at or below the WIA selling price.
