New licence grades herald a new era for Australian amateur radioWednesday morning the 19th of October 2005 marked an historic occasion in the history of Australian Amateur Radio, with the introduction of the new license grades and in particular the new Foundation License. It's some of the best news the hobby has had and I would personally like to congratulate the ACMA, the WIA and all those who have been involved in the establishment of the new licenses which will ensure our hobby is alive and well for many generations to come. To all those of you who will be shortly sitting for their Foundation license, I wish you all the very best and look forward to maybe talking to you on air.
