CEPT Intermediate/Novice recommendation released

CEPT ECC Recommendation-05-06 has been released along with an update of ERC Report-032 (the Syllabus) which provides a mechanism for CEPT reciprocal licensing at European Novice Level which approximates to our Intermediate.

05-06 Annex-2 shows that Denmark has signed up to the scheme already.

We have been waiting a long time for a CEPT agreement which will allow Intermediates to operate from any CEPT country but it looks as though it is finally coming to fruition.

I understand that OFCOM would like to see the CEPT
agreement covering Foundation as well. Several European contries would welcome such a move. One such is Belgium who apparently denied their Foundation holders the use of 10 metres so they'd be compatable with the United Kingdom in the hope this would speed up adoption of a common CEPT Foundation licence across Europe.
