Barry Scarisbrick, G4ACK, Silent Key

We are sad to report the untimely death of Barry Scarisbrick, G4ACK, the RSGB Amateur Radio Observation Service Coordinator. Barry became a Silent Key earlier this week.

Until recently, Barry was the regional manager for Region 11, the South West and Channel Islands . He was also a member of the RSGB Regional and National Council.

A quiet, unassuming man, he will be remembered by many radio amateurs from his exhaustive tours of the UK, giving club talks on his work with the Observation Service.
Barry will be sadly missed by all his colleagues within the Observation and the RSGB regional team.

Details of Barry's funeral are not yet available but will appear on the RSGB website.
