Expedition 12 crew William McArthur KC5ACR and Valery Tokarev will be talking to students from Furtherwick Park School in Canvey Island, Essex

International Space Station voice contact

The South Essex Amateur Radio Society's forthcoming contact with the International Space Station will be on Wednesday 9 November 2005 at 17:45hrs

We will be operating the station for Furtherwick Park School, Canvey Island, Essex. The call sign will be GB2FPS

Carlos Eavis from the R.S.G.B. and Howard Long from Amsat-UK will be helping on the day with the fun bus GB4FUN, which will also be in attendance.

The students have been working on the questions that they will be asking the crew. We have been waiting two years for this opportunity so there's much excitement in the school and also within the Radio club.

Further information will be posted on the club web site.
