New QRP Beacon AE5X/b on 28.267 MHz

A new QRP Beacon, AE5X/b, is on the air from 30km North of New York City on 28.267 MHz

For the first time in a long time, 10, 12 and 15 meters had some great openings yesterday. Hopefully, more will occur as winter approaches.

In anticipation of such, I re-activated my 10m QRP beacon today at 1800Z on 28.267 MHz and will leave it on the air 24/7 until March or April.

I plan to update my website soon with details of it but for now: 5 watts into a G5RV at 20 meters near CT/NY border in FN30DB.

If you happen to receive it, I'd appreciate an "eReception report" describing signal strength and your set-up.

Thanks much & 73,

John Harper AE5X
