VK2 Assessor Course

19 people attended the WIA assessor training program held in Sydney on the 24th and 25th of September, 2005 of which one attendee travelled from VK7 to be a part of the assessor training in Sydney.

Fred Swainston's presentation was educational, enjoyable and was met with enthusiasm for the soon to be introduced Foundation licence. Practical components of the program were challenging and Fred was able to answer all our questions related to the introduction of the amateur radio assessment system.

Fred expressed thanks for the feedback provided by all groups he has trained over the past month in Australia who have added valued input to the new WIA exam process.

On behalf of all the WIA affiliated clubs present for the assessor training in Sydney, we thank the WIA and Fred Swainston for the opportunity to be a part of the exciting changes ahead.
