The National WIA reaches a new milestone

October the 3rd saw the one-hundredth radio club apply for affiliation with the WIA.

Along with the growing club affiliation there has been a growing number of people joining the WIA, an average of around eight new members each week.

The most pleasing aspect of the growth is around 30% of those joining are old members rejoining. With the introduction of the foundation licence and the addition in the near future of expanded services, the WIA board expects the membership to continue growing along with the expected growth in the number of licensed amateurs.

So it's a big welcome to NERG, Melbourne's North East Radio Group, our 100th affiliated club!
