New draft Amateur Radio IR 2028 on Ofcom website

The UK regulator Ofcom have put a revised draft version of Interface Requirement 2028 (IR 2028) on their website.

This document covers the requirements for the licensing and use of Amateur Radio in the specified frequency bands.

As expected it contains a number of changes to bring it into line with the revised Amateur Radio licence document "BR68" issued a couple of weeks earlier.

It now incorporates Foundation Access to the Amateur Satellite service and the 10 GHz band. All references to individual modes (Telephony, RTTY etc) have been removed to make it "Technology Neutral".
