WRTC 2010 to be held in Russia

The World Radiosport Team Championship Sanctioning Committee has announced the next WRTC will be held in Russia for the first time in 2010.

The Soyuz Radiolyubiteley – the Union of Radio Amateurs of Russia – will be the primary sponsor and SRR President Roman Thomas, RZ3AA, is the host committee chairman.

The event will be held in the vicinity of Moscow in conjunction with the IARU HF World Championship in July 2010.

The committee plans to publish qualification rules and procedures and establish a WRTC 2010 Web site as soon as possible.
